The last few weeks I’ve been talking about loving one another, especially our Christian brothers and sisters.
But how important is that really? Let’s see what the apostle John says about it:
1 John 3:10 NIV
“This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.”
John says that if you don’t do what is right and you don’t love others, then you aren’t a child of God.
With John, there is no grey area. There is no legitimate, Godly reason, to hate your brother or sister.
If you want to be called a child of God, love others.
But is loving one another just a feeling we are supposed to have? No, love is also an action.
God didn’t simply love us with a feeling. He loved us with an action… He gave himself for us. He died on a cross for us.
John 3:16 NIV
“For God SO LOVED the world that HE GAVE his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
So think about your fellow christian brothers and sisters and how you have loved them. As a true child of God, how are you loving them (in action)?
I believe that I am a child of God, while everyday I must wonder why God is allowing me to be tested so much? Because everytime I am being honest, Liars beat me down and I get punished. Everytime I earn enough money to obtain something I need / want, it is stolen and I am punished. Everytime I was married, I stayed truthful to my wives, but they lied to me, lied about me, stole from me and when I was away serving my country, they went to bed with my friends, my father and I was punished. I recently had purchased a Laptop Computer, about 2 years ago, for record keeping, idea research and developement, and book writing. I was pursued online and by others until I was mugged and the computer was broken…Too costly to repair and all of the programs on the computer from Microsoft Office to AutoCAD, gone. It is hard to suffer through government denials that refuse our Constitutional Civil Rights, Right to Appeal…Our Government’s Disavowing any knowledge of the actions that edited trial transcripts, false arrests, and/or the verbal, mental, and physical abuses those incarcerated have to suffer even after released from prison because nobody wants an excon around, not even Jesus could survive this nor John the Baptist, or Benjamin. It is said, speak honestly, do good and you will do well…Not when everyone wants to believe gossip, Rob you blind and kill you! I cannot trust anyone anymore nor believe anything said because the proof has been laid out and I have witneesed the reality. I pray for those that assault me like I am suppose to, even when that does not help, I endure the hardships, but that does not make it any easier. God, Yahweh, said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay!” Well, Lord, God I pray you do make all of mine enemies laydown their arms against me and put them in prison for it is written, “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” With all that has been done to me they must want it done to them in the same manner, so be it. God Bless!
